Yes, but those are organizations performing charitable works for the public good, and giving the donor a tax deduction. Can a FreeBSD organization serving the business needs of ISPs and other likely business donors continue providing tax write-offs to its donors? I expect the IRS will view it as a business consortium, not a charitable organization.
