The entire purpose of the GNU project was, and is, to kill
companies such as Sun and HP. They are foolishly clasping
the serpent to their breasts. (Not that both haven't done
it before.... It was folly for Sun to trust Microsoft with
Java or for HP to embrace Windows or hire Bruce Perens.)
