Hi, After installing PostgreSQL 8.3b1 port on FreeBSD 6.2 and then running # /usr/local/etc/rc.d/postgresql initdb initdb: file "/usr/local/share/postgresql/snowball_create.sql" does not exist This means you have a corrupted installation or identified the wrong directory with the invocation option -L. In /etc/rc.conf there's only one postgresql_* line: postgresql_enable="YES" Thanks.home | help
