i never really understood PAM and would be much happier if it won't be included at all, but i need to allow root login by password with rlogin and rsh. I am not interested in comments like "this is insecure" because it depends. For me it is secure - over my own LAN or encrypted tunnel. What to change in /etc/pam.d to allow rlogin and rsh to work with keyboard typed password when logging as root. i can go passwordless with .rhosts but this is not what i want. Thanks for help!
