My oldest "laptop" with a pcic chip in it still works. It is a Fujitsu Stylistic 500. I was able to copy the dmesg from that machine to my main machine with a Orinoco gold card. The battery is charging... I'd almost forgotten how small the dmesg from a 486 was. It was nice to try a new machine and just have it work for a change :-) Warner P.S. The wi driver did need to be hacked to grok a machine that didn't have pci compiled into the kernel, but that was relatively minor... Copyright (c) 1992-2001 The FreeBSD Project.
