Hi,
I've recently installed a FBSD box with 4.2...
The box serves as a pppoe/nat box.
I would also like to use the system to burn cd's, rip audio etc etc.
Everything works fine, but I have an adaptec 2920 (around 2.5 years old) card, and Freebsd refuses to see it..
I've Recompiled with all the scsi options set, here is what looks like the card from startup...
pci0: <unknown card> (vendor=0x1036, dev=0x0000) at 17.0 irq 10
My Soundblaster, which I just installed, appears to be using the same irq, but even before installing it, I had this same results.
