The PR is about crontab failing to recognize changes that do not overlap a clock second tick. schweikh@ who last dealt with it suggested MD5ing the file before and after the edit to see if it changed. I feel somewhat uneasy about entangling crontab with openssl/md5.h, but I can not really sea a problem. Any comments or alternative suggestions? Diomidis - dds@
