Howdy. This is just an FYI. The actual code that's different is very small
(only one line), which is why I haven't rushed to do the update yet. It's
also the reason for the rapid MFC of this change; and the reason that at
this time I'm not planning to MFC it further down the tree. Those who
really need to see the number 8.3.4 in the logs can use the port.
