Sharp eyes!
John: here're some revisions for ``install.sgml'' that does what
Francisco suggests.
<bf>Can I run MS-DOS binaries under FreeBSD?</bf>
Not yet! But, Berkeley Software Design, Inc. has donated
its DOS emulator <bf/rundos/ to the BSD community! Work is
now ongoing to integrate this into FreeBSD. If you would like
to assist in this effort, send mail to the &a.emulation.
In the mean time, you can make use of an application available
in the <ref id="ports" name="The Ports Collection"> called
pcemu. It enables you to run many MS-DOS text-mode binaries
by entirely emulating an 8088 CPU.
And you'll need to add this to ``authors.sgml'':
<!ENTITY a.emulation "FreeBSD emulation mailing list
<tt><htmlurl url='mailto:freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.ORG'
name='<freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.ORG>'></tt>">
