After updating the web pages will be mirrored to freefall.freebsd.org using rsync(1). Freefall - alias www.freebsd.org - is the main web server and handle the static HTML pages and most cgi scripts (cvsweb.cgi, man.cgi, query-pr, ports.cgi). The fulltext search, the mailing search and the mail index runs on hub. Freefall forwarded the search requests transparently (*) to hub. hub.freebsd.org redirects all requests - execpt the search and mail index requests - to www.freebsd.org. This include the host name aliases freebsd.org, www.freebsd.com, hub.freebsd.org and www.freebsd.net. (*) with the reverse proxy apache module The Web pages are updated twice a day, at 0400 PST and at at 1600 PST. The location is /usr/local/www/data on hub and freefall.
