I am trying to format a DVD+RW as I gather this kind of DVD needs. I tried
growisofs and it told me:
* DVD±RW/-RAM format utility by <appro@fy.chalmers.se>, version 4.10.
:-( unable to open("/dev/acd0"): Inappropriate ioctl for device
I then tried
burncd format dvd+rw
but that that just sat there for a few hours and did nothing. It didn't do any
progress reporting like the man page said.
I'm stumped now. Does anyone have any ideas?
