https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D255616 Bug ID: 255616 Summary: fstyp(8) fails for zfs since OpenZFS 2.0 merge Product: Base System Version: 13.0-RELEASE Hardware: Any URL: https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/fstyp-8-returns-fil esystem-not-recognised-for-zfs.80219 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: freebsd@michael-bueker.de For a partition that's part of a zpool, fstyp(8) reports on 13.0-RELEASE: # fstyp -u /dev/ada2p1 fstyp: /dev/ada2p1: filesystem not recognized The same command works as expected on 12.2-RELEASE and below. As reported on the forums, the problem is apparently a missing CFLAGS+=3D -DHAVE_ZFS in the Makefile.
