I'll happily run shell commands in xterms but vi* just looks best in text mode, IMHO. gram (P.S. _ I also like ScrlLck and PgUp/PgDn far more than using the scroll bar in an xterm. And when running Windoze, I usually have at least one DOS box open, Alt-Enter-ed to be a full-screen text mode DOS shell.
