[-- Attachment #1 --] Hi, I've just read some of the intel ich3 sound threads, but I have a slightly different problem here. Most people have had problems with IO mapping, but this device here shows: pcm0: <Intel 82801CA(ICH3)> port 0xe100-0xe13f,0xe100-0xe0ff irq4 at device 31.5 on pci0 pcm0: unable to map interrupt device_probe_and_attach: pcm attach returned 6 So it seems the interrupt causes the problem, not the IOs. (By the way, I think irq4 is very unusual for a sound device, isn't it?) The system is a 4.6-STABLE, built this morning. Has somebody got similar problems? Perhaps an idea how to fix? Regards, Riggs -- - "[...] I talked to the computer at great length and -- explained my view of the Universe to it" said Marvin. --- And what happened?" pressed Ford. ---- "It committed suicide." said Marvin.
