Totally headless. 14.3 installer works fine, but the 15.0-RELEASE installer hangs and then reboots after about 5 seconds after the: staging 0x61800000 (not copying) tramp 0x6170b000 PT4 0x61702000 Start @ 0xffffffff8032ae40 ... EFI framebuffer information: addr, size 0x80000000, 0x300000 dimensions 1024 x 768 stride 1024 masks 0x00ff0000, 0x0000ff00, 0x000000ff, 0xff000000 I've tried all the suggestions that I've found here but nothing has worked. FreeBSD 14.3-RELEASE installer works fine. Even the pkgbase upgrade to 15.0-RELEASE works fine. I thought the problem was solved after that, but once I update the zroot EFI bootcode, I ran into the exact same problem. Not sure where to go from here. I could reinstall 14.3 and then update to 15.0 again using pkgbase (freebsd-update fails with a libc.so.7 issue), but I would need to leave the ZFS zroot pool on the old bootcode, I guess. I haven't tested this with UFS. Is this still being worked on or is it already fixed? Maybe I'm missing something? It's such a strange issue to have on a headless server. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
