I have much more trouble with PCX than BMP... I don't think that part about resolutions is correct either. My adapter (according to 'vidcontrol -i mode') has valid 8bpp VESA modes for 1024x768 and 800x600, but it displays my 640x480 bitmap in 640x480, not in 1024x768 as DES suggests. > -- > Daniel C.
