It appears to load fine when entering xf86cfg's graphical mode, at least 16
bit color and 1024x768. Note, no splash screen.

agp is set to zero, no other video related modules (vesa, etc) are loaded,
and no error file is generated - both /var/log/XFree86.0.log and the
XFree86.core files that are created by the crash are zero byte files. Any
help diagnosing this would be appreciated - my brain is dry.
