https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D241935 Bug ID: 241935 Summary: After installing FreeBSD, installer user interface should remind to eject the install disc Product: Base System Version: 12.1-RELEASE Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: misc Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: sean@rogue-research.com Created attachment 209123 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D209123&action= =3Dedit UI to copy Despite following along with the Handbook while installing FreeBSD, I manag= ed not to see this sentence under figure 2.53: "Do not forget to remove the FreeBSD install media or the computer may boot from it again." (Perhaps were I using a physical CD and not an ISO file in a VM I would have thought of it!) I suggest that FreeBSD do as Ubuntu does at the end of it's installation and display something like: "Please remove the installation medium, then press ENTER" See attached. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
