Note: hopefully=20 you were able to install the ports tree, an essential aspect of a major=20 advantage of FreeBSD. If you did, then to install say, bash, you would=20 do: cd /usr/ports/shells/bash2 ; make install That should automatically download and install what you need. Also, check out /stand/sysinstall. -Brent --fXStkuK2IQBfcDe+ Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 5.0i for non-commercial use MessageID: Jm9vSXWJ+Wtq33uP0BwJeX6UYcJvCzNU iQA/AwUBONXtif5LgQMksPsjEQInHACgogKiQeD+b0x2Af0vbXd6cDiZHssAoIs+ aKWnft4KMg/sVWeOB9qwa+Ni =1FHE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --fXStkuK2IQBfcDe+-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
