That's because a patch that broad to the kernel source has more potential (political) trouble attached, and is less urgent (than patches to regular docs). It'll be dealt with in time, I expect. In general, if you're submitting patches to eliminite these types of mistakes, they will be dealt with the fastest for 1) web pages, 2) handbook 3) manpages, 4) FAQ, 5) source-code comments. Nos. 1-4 are all about equal and fairly fast. Patches for No 5 are quite welcome, too; they just have a history of taking longer to get fixed. -- Outnumbered? Maybe. Outspoken?
