I just realized that the nabble link (http://www.nabble.com/mount_smbfs-td3312376.html) in my last email was from the netbsd mailing list and not the freebsd mailing list. Seems it was last working on FreeBSD in the 5.2 days. Sorry for the confusion. According to the 5.2 release notes (http://www.freebsd.org/releases/5.2R/relnotes-sparc64.html) mount_smbfs was working then. mount_portalfs, mount_nwfs, and mount_smbfs were moved from /sbin to /usr/sbin. After that, I can't find information as to when it was determined to not include it in freebsd-sparc64. Best Regards, Jason Cox
