Usually one should login as us= er,=20 but if you don't have user accounts you need the line: "PermitRootLogin yes" =2DHarry > > After a little time I see in /var/log/messages: > sshd[480]: fatal : Timeout before authentication for 192.168.1.128. > > I tryed to connect from my freebsd to my linux using ssh without any > problems. > > Pls., point me where to search the problem. > Also any additional docs about the freebsd will help. > > redards, > ivan. > > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-current@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-current > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-current-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" --Boundary-02=_1VfCALz+2pljxll Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Description: signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBACfV1Bylq0S4AzzwRAn3cAJ48HJPtPDKhO7i+bhcJ2Hb9RYBNWwCdF3Pn 8GKRaZ7aDBgSpT0unwHIrxw= =OnPk -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Boundary-02=_1VfCALz+2pljxll-- --Boundary-02=_fWfCAexdFmaLrNl Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Description: signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBACfWfBylq0S4AzzwRAmE+AJ9XcSiLMLDyyywb5tzNbQnqqlzADwCeMJi4 92zHWFi4Mtz+g5b29UGdvVk= =cczf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Boundary-02=_fWfCAexdFmaLrNl--
