Hello, ON 9STABLE, with the recent changes on snd_hda (HDA Driver Revision:20120126_0002), sound does not work anymore here. That works fine with a kernel from February 14 (HDA Driver Revision: 20100226_0142). I've made a diff on a verbose dmesg.boot between those versions (dmesg.bootok is the one that works). You will find it here: http://user.lamaiziere.net/patrick/public/diff_boot_hda.txt Looks like hda does not take care about the quirks added in /boot/device.hints (needed to make it works) hint.hdac.0.config="gpio0 ovref" hint.hdac.0.cad0.nid21.config="as=4 seq=15" In 20100226_0142 I see hdac0: FG config/quirks: gpio0 forcestereo ivref50 ivref80 ivref100 ovref50 ovref80 ovref100 ivref ovref vref On 20120126_0002: hdaa0: FG config/quirks: forcestereo ivref50 ivref80 ivref100 ivref So, are there some changes about HDA quirks? Thanks, regards. -- BSDine® 500mg Maux de tête et licences virales.
