I have no need for crypto things (Kerberos, OpenSSL, OpenSSH, etc.) since this box is not a Web server and I don't have access to external computers that would let me SSH into it. Therefore, is it reasonable to set the NOCRYPT option in /etc/make.conf? Will that not install any base crypto code? However, how are login passwords handled? Is that separate from NOCRYPT?
