Bruce, can you think of a way to make config or the Makefile do:


if config -g,
tehn the default rule becomes:

kernelstrip:	kernel
	cp kernel kernel.strip
	strip -d kernel.strip


and 'make install' will install the stripped version by default?
(or maybe it's a silly idea anyhow)
