Julian also suggested something like that. You need some serious mods
to xearth:
1. Respond to some mouse events (can you do this on the root window?
I think so, but I'm no longer sure).
2. Move the display to show the person you select.
3. Alternatively, click on a location and get details of the people
there.
I have a slightly marked-up version. Want to take it over?
