Not sure how you did it (I don't see USE_AUTOCONF which usually accompanies these stuff) but you got rid of the big patch to configure. That is great. :) As a general reminder -- people, please take a moment to do an "ls -s" in patches before you commit a port. I don't want to sound stingy but 3,000-line patches to configure or Makefile (in case the port has Imakefile) aren't going to make anyone's life easier.
