Joerg, Sorry, I thought they were complaining about the FreeBSD vs. Ascend/Cisco advocacy. I'm was hoping that people would be interested in writing code for FreeBSD so hackers seemed apropriate. Did you read my posts? I respect your point of view as you seem to have been around on the FreeBSD mailing list a lot longer than I have and would know better. My problem with isp is that they don't seem to be focused on code writing. My problem with isdn is that the field is a lot narrower in that it seems to be focused on the German isdn arena.
