hoek 1999/07/11 14:43:21 PDT Modified files: emulators/linux-base Makefile Log: Mark this port broken on anything but the more recent -currents. It requires a change to the Linux image activator or the creation of a simple symlink to work. Notes: 1) I chose to mark this broken instead of changing it to create the simple symlink because a) The future of the port in this directory is still in question and I don't want to make any significant changes. b) It's my understanding that Marcel is currently talking to msmith about how to proceed. c) I don't want to download the 11-odd meg required to test this behomoth. 2) The change to the Linux image activator probably merits bumping __FreeBSD_version both in -current and (later) in -stable. Bumping __FreeBSD_version is cheap. 3) This port is broken in more ways. If anyone removes this BROKEN tag they should also fix those other breakages. Fixing the portlint warnings may possibly fix packaging for this port (currently broken when WRKDIRPREFIX is used). 4) See also ports/emulators/linux-devel 5) I've had a friendly discussion with Marcel about this change, and he is playing intentionally indecisive on all counts. :-) Revision Changes Path 1.2 +5 -1 ports/emulators/linux-base/Makefile To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
