Hello, I installed FreeBSD-4.6 on HP Vectra PC. I configured this machine as NAT gateway. Connection diagram: LAN-------FreeBSD IPFILTER/NAT/DHCP----ADSL modem-----ISP PPPoE and IPFilter/NAT/DHCP working normal. Problem is Windows 95/98/98SE users can to go through FreeBSD gateway machine, but Windows 2000/XP sometimes working, sometimes can't. Sametime if can't work Windows 2000/XP stop to access LAN servers, shared resources. Strange thing, I can to ping from Windows 2000/XP PC to outside network hosts. If sometime I refresh IP address from DHCP, then I can to access some website after few minutes it stop. If I try to ping using domainname of outside host then impossible. But from FreeBSD gateway machine I can to ping IP/domain name of hosts. I check DNS servers of our ISP and it is working normal. I don't know this mailing list correct or not. Any suggestion?
