$tar xvfz Mail-SpamAssassin-3.2.3.tar.gz
$perl Makefile.PL PREFIX=/usr/local/spamassassin
$make
$make disttest
$su
password:
#make install



You will have spamassassin installed in /usr/local/spamassassin
