https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=285156 --- Comment #17 from bsd@dino.sk --- (In reply to Jonathan Chen from comment #16) We have two situations here. Original reporter (in original description) has codec detected (his sysctl dev.hdaa.0 clearly shows that), but not properly initialised (note comment #2, second part on Arch init procedure). You (in comment #12) have no dev.hdaa oids, so this means no codec attached to hdac detected to me (I could be wrong, though). This is exactly my problem on AlderLake N100 box I have. All dmesg, pciconf, sysctl outputs are just like yours, with one minor variation - my subvendor and subdevice fields for hdac are 0x0301, 0x02f3, while yours are 0x8086, 0x7270, exactly like original reporter's. It would be good to split this into two cases (maybe even PRs), but I don't know whether it is possible, technically, in bugzilla, or even wise to do so - I see two distinct, different situations, probably with different solutions, I just don't know enough to be of any authority to say. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
