My easy machines to do downloads are running W2K. When I finish the
download, I use a program called md5 to check the list of checksums
from the download site. I don't remember where I obtained md5. It was
someplace like sourceforge or Simtel.net
(http://www.simtel.net/simtel.net/). You can enter md5 in the search
field and it will return a number of choices.
