Yup, no history! I loaded bash off the cd and ran chsh.  The book actually
mentioned this and how to fix it.

I am running 4.0 now.  Works well.  I still have to figure out printing
on my deskjet, sound on my sb16 and ppp on my supra (non win)modem.

I miss sndconfig, apsfilter, and redhat's ppp configuration tool.
