I have had the same problem with a similar motherboard (I am not sure
if it is exactly the same number... I am at work and it is at home
:-).  It was a SuperMicro motherboard though.  I was able to change
the MP version from 1.4 to 1.1 and all was well after that.  Can you
change this:

> version: 1.4 

to version 1.1 in the BIOS and see if that fixes your mptable?
