https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=213886 Bug ID: 213886 Summary: Error in manpage for pgrep/pkill Product: Documentation Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Documentation Assignee: freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.org Reporter: hasandiwan@gmail.com I read the following (somewhat confusing) statement, under the HISTORY heading: The pkill and pgrep utilities first appeared in NetBSD 1.6. They are modelled after utilities of the same name that appeared in Sun Solaris 7. They made their first appearance in FreeBSD 5.3. Did it appear first in NetBSD or FreeBSD? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
