I had a user who used to quite regularly backspace over her prompt on a Wyse. She'd freak out, claim it was broken, and demand that the sysadmin staff come down and fix it for her. This happened over and over and over again, and she never could keep it straight in her head how to fix her 'problem'. We ended up writing something that would locate her tty, clear the screen, and send a crlf, and running it every time she called. "Ohhhhh... did you fix it?" But now we're drifting into stories that I originally told back in the early days of the scary devil monestary, and I think I've recovered too much to want to dredge up too many of those :/ -Pete To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message
