I understand that many people are upset about the current state of Python
ports, but please stay away from offensive language.

Folks, before requesting exp-run for Numpy update, I'd like to know your
opinion on upgrade plan. Should we upgrade step by step, for example to
Numpy-2.2 or 2.3 first, and then to the latest version? I'm concerned that some
ports can not be updated to the latest releases due to outdated setuptools and
may not support Numpy-2.4 yet.
