I notice delays of several seconds around the "launching APs" message.  I have
attributed various slowness in bhyve guests to the use of spinlocks when many
CPUs are contending for the lock.  If not all of the virtual CPUs can be
scheduled simultaneously then each will use its full time slice spinning
waiting for a suspended virtual CPU to finally run and release the lock.
