Just some more info about what I have here: The 3C5x9 board is in ISA mode, not PnP. That is shown in my truncated dmesg dump. Besides, I didn't get any of those cute 'erase pencil mark' messages... :) > 1 3C5x9 board(s) on ISA found at 0x210 Both 'gateway' and 'router' in sysconfig are set to "NO". As if it should matter: - I installed the machine from CD. - I rebuilt the kernel to see my card in the nonstandard spot, and rebooted. - In multiuser mode, I configured the ep0 interface via /stand/sysinstall. Hopefully, that chain of events shouldn't have broken anything...
