flashpluginwrapper can only make flash5.0r51 work, not
flash6.

further still when i installed linux mozilla 1.5 in
/compat/linux/usr/local/mozilla), i symlinked the
native java plugin in the plugins dir of native
mozilla. here's what i get when i run linux mozilla:
/usr/local/jdk1.4.2/jre/plugin/i386/ns610/libjavaplugin_oji.so:
ELF file OS ABI invalid

i remove the symlink and try this time to symlink the
linux java plugin (from ns610) and here's what i get
when i run linux mozilla:
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: No manager for
initializing factory?
System error?:: Success

from the ns610-gcc32 here's what i get when i run
linux mozilla:
LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library
/usr/compat/linux/usr/local/j2sdk1.4.2_03/jre/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so
[libgcc_s.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or directory]

but the native mozilla just runs fine the native java
plugin.

here's what i found working: browsers, plugins and
their OSs go together (birds of the same feather).

java plugins work in native mozilla. flash6 and
acroread5 work in linux mozilla. so i switch between
the native and linux mozilla when viewing flash, pdf,
and applets.
