hi, i "updated/downgraded" my 4-stable world built on 20010717 to 4.3-release, releng_4_3 (cvsup2 server), between 20010730, 11.50p & 20010730 1a. world was built w/o any errors, kernel was built & installed w/o any errors. after going to single user mode, installworld failed quite early. failure was at the first line of removing something; a few installs before 'rm' didn't produce any errors. sorry i don't have any log of the failure. i thought i saved the output, but, obviously, i goofed somewhere while logging the make output. instead of /usr/src i have /source/src & previous 20010717 installworld was problem-less from this tree... i will try 4-stable installworld... any comments in the meantime? -- so, do you like word games or scrabble? - parv To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
