Hi all
Im completely new to Freebsd and bsd in general, have been using linux
for the past 2years and windows for work reasons but i have recently
made room for freebsd on 1 of my pcs. This box has a Realtek RTL
8139/8139C/8139C+ (according to lspci) nic. On the linux kernel and obv
windows, i have no problem, but when i pop in the freebsd install disc
and start the install process the nic indicator on my router goes from
green to orange. I can ping the box and ping from the box around my lan
but when i try and ping the outside world, i get nothing. I've searched
around on google but i cant find that much information regarding freebsd
and this nic. i did read it was supported but i cant seem to get it to
work. If im best off buying a new card then ill do that but id rather
not have to.

Thanks for any replies

ps this maybe not the best place to post this but i thought it was worth
a try
