FWIW: I am running i386-CURRENT as of March 17 11:27 EDT with acpica megapatch + acpi_ec.c patch by Mr. YAMAMOTO to enable ThinkPad buttons and I see no regression on HDA. Mine is: pcm0: <Intel 82801G High Definition Audio Controller> mem 0xee240000-0xee243fff irq 17 at device 27.0 on pci0 pcm0: [ITHREAD] pcm0: <HDA Codec: Analog Device AD1981HD> pcm0: <HDA Driver Revision: 20070317_0042> I am loading snd_hda as module. If there any additional information I can provide, please, let me know. Alexandre "Sunny" Kovalenko.
