This PR references the fact that the automatic administration scripts,
/etc/{daily,weekly,monthly,security} all only reference the machine name
and not the FQDN of the machine it is run on. This can make centralized
administration a pain.

Without objections from this list, I will commit the patch contained in
this PR.
