Grr, this was a short-lived success :-(
	1- iperf's problem is related to 
		options 	MAXDSIZ="..."
	   not SMP, 
	2- mozilla's is SMP related.
	   with a UP kernel all is ok, with SMP i get 'No running window found'.

btw, the kernel and worls are  4.8-PRERELEASE as of some hours ago.
