Said gperftools maintainer here. BTW OSX has {s,}brk but their implementati=
on
simply fails. Fair game if you guys do the same IMO. BTW I never said "I ex=
pect
all platforms to have working sbrk".

Also if you choose to amputate it entirely, it is IMHO fair game too. It is=
 not
in posix for example.
