I think virtualbox does need to be ported, however, John makes a very strong point that vmware is becoming practically the de-facto standard for virtual machines, and if you can't load a vmware machine, people nearly give you funny looks. I would be happy with any virtual machine that worked with reasonable speed, but the vmware compatibility advantage is pretty large. Eric
