The xorg "nv" driver works great - at the cost of not being able to return to console-land. The nvidia driver works horribly. Molasses in winter comes to mind. The moused daemon starts running hard and the processor runs at 100%. I'm hoping the problem is some dumb mistake on my part. I'm hoping it will be apparent to you all.
