https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=273372 --- Comment #13 from John Nielsen <john@jnielsen.net> --- I obviously can’t speak for the OP, but I have two T520-LL-CR cards. One has a built-in fan. It has always worked flawlessly across multiple systems, OSes and workloads. The other has a bigger heatsink but no fan. It always seemed to work until the system got some load or had been up for a certain period of time. Then the card would go completely out to lunch similar to what is described here. Then I checked the dev.t5nex.0.temperature sysctl and was shocked to see it well over 100C. I installed a fan next to the card and it has been trouble-free ever since. Current temp reading is 68C. Running FreeBSD 14.3 doing sr-iov and passing a VF to a bhyve guest. Rock solid. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
